One recipient has successfully worn a Duncan Implant Sleeve for three continuous years with no difficulties, complaints, and minimal repairs. The DIS does not lose its retention and can be made to fit as tight as the patient desires. This creates comfort and ease for patients, offering security not felt before. With the DIS in a denture appliance, it is easy to realign the acrylic portion of the denture without effecting the sleeve.

A patient wearing a DIS will experience less visits to the dentist for repairs, avoiding periods of time that their dentures are unusable. The sleeve is very easy to clean and adjust. The DIS is manufactured with ADA-approved materials.

Duncan Dental’s Implant Sleeves, or DIS, are used to retain dentures in conjunction with Hader bars and other implant bars that clip. This technique is great for new cases with hader bars and we do fabricate new hader bars. The sleeve is a good answer for old Hader Bars with no retention. Other attachments commonly used are inadequate for an overwhelming number of reasons: clips are guaranteed to loosen, causing them to detach from the denture or break. In turn, this causes the clips to require annual replacement, at a minimum. This also causes the dentures to lose their individual fit.
